It's that time again...time to chase the big white dress.

When my youngest was little, he told his class that my job was " Chasing the Big White Dress". So when wedding season kicks in, that's where you will find me, chasing the big white dress! So from this week end forward, it's pretty much a straight shot every week end until a small break of a few weeks in late August, then on through November. So please remember that if you call me on your day off, it's most likely not mine and I'll get back to you ASAP! I make it a practice to return calls within a day, but over the week ends I return calls and emails on Monday.

I've gotten lots of pitiful whiney emails wondering where my blog updates have been in the slower season, and just you wait. Your inbox is going to be sick of me very very soon!! And remember, I love feedback, as long as you are telling me how great I am. Okay, you can even tell me that I am mediocre. On each post is a comment button, feel free to leave me a mesage and keep in touch.

Thinking of an engagement session?

If you're thinking of doing an engagement session this summer, be sure to call early. I'm pretty well booked up for them through mid June so if you are thinking of late June or July give me a call or shoot me an email to get on the schedule. At this point weekends are out (see above post!) so evenings during the week are when I schedule them, usually later evening around 6-8 PM. It's also good to note that the earlier you schedule it the better, since our crazy weather can sometimes thwart the best laid plans and sometimes rescheduling happens. If you don't have any ideas on where to do them, here are some suggestions!

Lakefront Area
Lake Park
Third Ward
Whitnall Park
Boerner Botanical Gardens
Campus of Marquette
Doctors Park
Grant Park
River Walk
Mount Mary Campus Grounds
Downtown Wauwatosa
Or anywhere that is meaningful to you!
Megan and Bryan
April 14, 2006
Ceremony: War Memorial
Reception: Lakefront Brewery

Well, this wedding was quite a way to kick off my wedding season. I think if you look up "Rowdy" on Wikipedia Bryan and Megan and their wedding party would appear there. I am not kidding, these people knew how to have fun. You all are going to have to work pretty hard to top this one!

Rocking the One Light

My main purpose for going to Seattle was to attend this seminar given by one of my favorite photographers that I am also proud to call my friend, Zack Arias. He teaches a seminar on using minimal equipment to achieve dramatic results with flash outdoors. It was really a long and awesome day and I learned a ton. I've been playing around with this using my kids as test subjects,as you will see in the first image. The rest are some of my favorites taken at the workshop.

Ed, Lisa and Buddy

Ed and Lisa are getting married this week end! Here's a few shots from their lakefront engagement session with their awesome dog Buddy.

Washington State Scenery

I think it's an evil plot to convince people that it rains all the time in Seattle. It is a beautiful place, I think they are just worried that if everyone knows about it, we'll all move there. Here's some of my favorites from the trip from around the Public Market and along the coast.
