Good news/Bad News!

The good news is I have a new website! After nearly 4 years it was time to put the old girl out to pasture and bring on a new look. I'm pleased with it so far, but as with everything that has to do with me and technology there are some bugs to be worked out. I'm in contact with my hosts and such, but for a few days my "cart" where client photos are hosting may be unavailable, as well as the slide shows on this blog. I'm working hard to resolve this, but some elements are out of my hands while I wait for the men in the geeky white coats to point their DNS name servers (whatever that means) into cyber space to make things come back.

Verde good news!

Just got word that this image was chosen for Photo District News Top Knots: The New School of Wedding Photography Contest. At this point I have no idea where it placed, but last year there were about 60 winners chosen world-wide so even if I came in at #60 I'm gonna be a happy girl :) Word on the street is that the top people in each category get a camera, but I'm not counting my chickens. The image will be published in the upcoming April magazine.

This image was taken at Kate and Kelly's wedding October 12 at the Paine Art Center in Wisconsin. Because photo contest are strange creatures, you have to name your images so I titled this one "Verde"
